Theme:
This role play explores an idea that is often left out of many forms of fantasy media I feel and that idea is how and why the sources for magic exist in a particular universe.
Plot:
Two siblings named Alastair and Lura Fable live in the world of Alluvial a place that has had magicians for many centuries. In their small city town of Malena they are told the story of the "Great Source" year after year, but no one person can explain what this is or how it bestows people with magic. Fed up with the idea of never truly knowing a truth they feel to be important to their society they go ahead and research the subject. Their research results in finding a book called the "Forgotten Times..." and they use this book to go back into the past with their friends. This ends with all of the people involved being lost in time and space at the beginning of Alluvial's creation.
About Myself...
I am a new role player to Role Play Gateway, but I have had some experience with role plays in the past. I could say that I am a game master as I have run one of my own role plays or tried to, and been allowed to moderate role plays without much success. I have come here to try and test my luck on this website due to this. I am generally going to be pretty open with what you can and cannot do in my role play, but I ask for respect and proper grammar and spelling. I have seen far too many errors when it comes to those subjects and I would rather not have it occur on my role play.
Characters can be thread bare to extremely well developed. I only ask if you make a thread bare character that you update the characters you make in good fashion if something occurs to them in the role play. Lastly, my role play is open to all so please feel free to stop by.
